Speed-IT Ltd, established in 1988, is a computer software developer located in Ferns, Co. Wexford. We employ a small
staff of experienced computer professionals offering consultancy, programming and support to a growing base of clients, servicing customers in the Irish and overseas markets. We have delivered
computer systems, training and consultancy to multinationals, corporates and SME's.
Our programmers have experience of transportation & leasing, financial, pharmaceutical manufacturing,
distribution and warehouse systems. In addition to our general systems experience we have very particular knowledge of the container industry and since 1990 have been writing software for some of the
major container leasing and trading companies.
More recently we have extended our focus and expertise to the design and implementation of corporate web sites, including transaction-based web
applications and electronic commerce. In addition to developing EQS Professional
Speed-IT also designed and implemented the Internets first online system for selling second hand marine containers and software for equipment tracking.
Speed-IT's development environment includes
Microsoft SQL 2000 database, Visual Basic 6 and VBScript. With these tools we offer highly customised container software solutions on Windows 95/98/NT/XP and Windows 2000/2003 platforms.
